  • Our Stack

    At Gamma:

    • <> We enjoy working with C#, using .NET Core for our back-end applications and APIs.
    • <> On the front-end side, we use JavaScript, and our framework of choice is Angular 4. We style things nicely according to Material design guidelines.
    • <> PostgreSQL is our go-to technology for data storage, coupled with DynamoDB and Aurora. For quick results, we store data in Redis cache.
    • <> Our code is tested in isolation using xUnit and integration tests are run with every build.
    • <> Most of our infrastructure is in the cloud (AWS) and serverless (AWS Lambda).
    • <> Deployments are nicely automated in TeamCity.
    • <> We like our scripting in Python, with a touch of Bash and Powershell now and then.
    • <> Versioning is done in Git or Mercurial, and we follow Git Flow in our repositories. Pull requests are a must.
  • Skills & Requirements

    You should have:

    • <> Three or more years of professional experience with the .NET platform. Or be really really good.
    • <> Front-end frameworks like AngularJS or React.
    • <> Experience with Git and Continuous Integration.
    • <> Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure).
    • <> Experience with online mapping tools like OpenLayers or MapBox is a nice to have.
    • <> Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, databases and distributed systems.
    • <> Code that’s understandable, testable, written with an eye towards maintainability.
    • <> A strong sense of curiosity and an unstoppable desire to learn. We believe that one must never stop learning, and so should you.
    • <> The ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts to your colleagues and customers.
    • <> The bottom line is, you should be someone that others enjoy working with due to your technical competence and positive attitude.
  • Benefits & Perks

    Perks of Working at Gamma:

    • <> You’ll be able to learn from other smart people, who care about building quality software as much as you do.
    • <> You’ll enjoy working in tight-knit Scrum teams, focused on delivering quality work at the end of each sprint.
    • <> You will be listened to by your peers, your managers, and your clients. Every voice matters here.
    • <> You’ll have flexible schedule and the opportunity to work from home. Every now and then, we’d go to a café and work remotely.
    • <> You’ll get to fight against your colleagues and managers, throw a grenade at them in Counter Strike or mount your trebuchets at their gate in Age of Empires.
    • <> You’ll receive training and mentoring, both in-house and external.
    • <> Private health insurance.
    • <> Bike-to-work and Taxsaver scheme.
