GAMMA TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE
The GAMMA hardware configuration has been designed to provide a scalable, resilient and secure solution to our clients. The equipment is installed in a managed data centre, which provides high bandwidth, network monitoring and a controlled environment for power and air conditioning.
The functionality has been developed as a series of stateless COM Objects. These objects are device and technology independent as GAMMA provides interfaces to these objects based on all current web technologies e.g. Java, XML, WML, CGI, ASP etc. The solution is open and flexible, for example, map sizes and symbols are entirely customisable. Data and maps returned by the GAMMA objects can be formatted and displayed to suit the design of the end target device.
