INCA relaunched with 34,000 areas
Dublin, January 20th - 2010: The Irish National Classification of Addresses (INCA), Ireland’s most advanced data and address segmentation system, has been updated and relaunched in 2010. The new and improved version of the application now includes 34,000 neighbourhoods in the Republic and has a number of other new features.
Included among these is the ability to analyse individual neighbourhoods on primary and secondary types of resident, allowing for greater granularity of analysis and offering a clearer picture of the make up of Irish neighbourhoods.
As times change, the need to look at Ireland in different ways becomes ever more apparent. To this end, INCA now includes the option of highlighting neighbourhoods that comprise a strong representation of specialist groupings, such as non-Irish residents and student populations. Such added information can be crucial for companies looking for extra levels of detail when analysing areas.
