INCA - IRISH NATIONAL CLASSIFICATION OF ADDRESSES

What is it?
Irish National Classification of Addresses (INCA) is an index classifying over 34,000 Irish neighbourhoods by their level of affluence and other key lifestyle attributes. INCA can be linked to your address data to create a complete lifestyle profile of your existing customers and improve future target marketing and data analysis.
INCA was designed specifically for Ireland, and is the most accurate and detailed neighbourhood profiling index in the market. By accurately profiling your existing customer database, INCA allows you to classify customers into logical homogenous groupings, helping you to improve target marketing, increase sales penetration rates and reduce overall costs.

What’s it used for?
INCA is used to classify geocoded addresses based in their neighbourhood characteristics. It facilitates analysis of address data (such as customer databases) using several criteria, most significantly, affluence and life stage. INCA can also be used to select data from an external mailing list (such as the ER) to target new neighbourhoods of similar types:
- Analyse, profile & segment customers
- Identify valuable customer types & areas
- Identify potential new & unexploited markets
- Improve target marketing & reduce direct mail costs
- Improve promotion response analysis
